The breeding program focuses on forage crops, particularly alfalfa, red clover, white clover, sainfoin, kidney vetch, perennial ryegrass, giant bentgrass, sweet vernal grass, and other minor forage crops. We also offer varieties of winter triticale, millet, and foxtail millet. <\/p>\n

\u017dele\u0161ice Breeding Station<\/h4>\n

The \u017dele\u0161ice Breeding Station was founded in 1877 and gradually expanded to include the holdings of the Hajany State Farm and the \u017dele\u0161ice Agricultural Cooperative. In 1965, it was integrated into the Breeding and Seed Enterprise in Brno. It specializes in the breeding of forage crops, medicinal and spice plants, and triticale. The station also offers the sale of seeds, fruit, and consulting services. Following privatization in 1995, it became part of AGROGEN.<\/p>\n

Slavice Breeding Station<\/h4>\n

The Slavice Breeding Station was founded in 1946 and specializes in the breeding of forage crops, particularly white clover, red clover, and perennial ryegrass. Following reconstruction in 1980, breeding conditions improved significantly. The station focuses on the development of new varieties and maintenance breeding, including the production of grass and clover-grass mixtures. After privatization, it became part of AGROGEN. Significant products include newly bred varieties of clover and ryegrass, which are available for propagation.<\/p>\n
