AGROGEN specializes in the sale of forage seeds, grass and clover-grass mixtures, medicinal plants, and other agricultural commodities. We prepare grass mixtures according to customer requirements and specific mixtures for subsidy programs.

The breeding program focuses on forage crops, particularly alfalfa, red clover, white clover, sainfoin, kidney vetch, perennial ryegrass, giant bentgrass, sweet vernal grass, and other minor forage crops. We also offer varieties of winter triticale, millet, and foxtail millet.
Research Activities
We conduct research on the utilization of grass mixtures in various conditions. We prepare mixtures for both agricultural and non-agricultural use.
Breeding Stations
Želešice Breeding Station
The Želešice Breeding Station was founded in 1877 and gradually expanded to include the holdings of the Hajany State Farm and the Želešice Agricultural Cooperative. In 1965, it was integrated into the Breeding and Seed Enterprise in Brno. It specializes in the breeding of forage crops, medicinal and spice plants, and triticale. The station also offers the sale of seeds, fruit, and consulting services. Following privatization in 1995, it became part of AGROGEN.
Slavice Breeding Station
The Slavice Breeding Station was founded in 1946 and specializes in the breeding of forage crops, particularly white clover, red clover, and perennial ryegrass. Following reconstruction in 1980, breeding conditions improved significantly. The station focuses on the development of new varieties and maintenance breeding, including the production of grass and clover-grass mixtures. After privatization, it became part of AGROGEN. Significant products include newly bred varieties of clover and ryegrass, which are available for propagation.

The commercial company AGROGEN, spol. s r.o. specializes in the breeding and maintenance of field crop varieties, particularly forage crops and medicinal plants. Thanks to our professional approach, we provide high-quality seeds not only for pre-basic stages but also for agricultural practice, where we cooperate with contract multipliers.
Our activities, however, do not end with seeds. We engage in crop production on leased land, which serves as a stable foundation and support for our core activities. We combine tradition with innovation to provide reliable solutions for modern agriculture.
